Local Police Join Simmons Elementary For Special Day

HORSHAM, PA -- Local law enforcement was on hand at Simmons Elementary School on Wednesday to help students celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday.

Detective Sgt. Larry Bozzomo, Officer Greg Witmer, and Officer Brian Reguera, each pictured above, were on hand as part of Horsham's Community Policing Program. Ruguera is pictured in his Air Force uniform.

Officers read "The Cat in the Hat" with students, and participated in their school meeting.

"No matter what job you have in the community, everybody reads," the school said.

"Working with our children and projecting a positive role model is one of the most important aspects of a successful Community Policing Program," Horsham ChATs said.
