Location Change Announced For Saturday's Montgomery Township's Autumn Festival

The 16th Annual Autumn Festival in Montgomery Township set for Saturday will be held inside on account of inclement weather, Montgomeryville officials said Friday afternoon.

The festival will be held in the Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center at 1030 Horsham Road, Montgomeryville and will be a "modified" version of the event, running from noon to 6 p.m. rather than noon to 8 p.m. The 7:40 p.m. fireworks show has been canceled due to rain in Saturday's forecast.

The modified event will feature more indoor family fun games to the festival such as skee ball, race car driving games, and more, officials said.

“We are working hard to make Autumn Festival at Mont CRC the wonderful fall celebration that it is,” Recreation Coordinator Matt Reimel said in a release.

Wristband tickets are now just $5 and officials said those who purchased a wristband or wristbands in advance will be reimbursed the cost difference by visiting the front desk at the center the day of the event. Those seeking reimbursements will need to present the purchased wristband or wristbands, along with their name and address. Wristbands will include unlimited visits to the inflatables, games, and amusements, and one scarecrow craft.

Attendees can still plant to check out over 60 vendors including food vendors, enjoy live music, make scarecrows and watch a magician.

The township will be giving away a one-month family membership to the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center along with a special township prize bag. Winners will be announced over the loud speaker at 4:30 p.m. at the festival, as well as on social media.

Parking will be available at the Mont CRC, the Montgomery Township Administration Building at 1001 Stump Road, Montgomeryville where there will be a crossing guard, and Penn Manufacturing Industries at 506 Stump Road, Montgomeryville where there will be a shuttle service available.
