Longtime Local Woman, School Librarian, 52, Remembered Love of Work, Travel, Reading
Elementary school librarian Georganne S. Walters has passed away at 52.

LANSDALE, PA -- Georganne S. Walters, 52, of Sellersville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Born July 29, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Martha (Senderling) Walters.
Georganne was employed as an assistant librarian in Simmons Elementary School, Horsham for many years, and loved the children and colleagues she worked with there. She also loved all things Irish. Outside of work, she enjoyed traveling and reading. Most importantly, Georganne loved to laugh.

Surviving Georganne are her daughters, Krysten Momsen (Kip), of Sellersville, Sara Goetter, of Lansdale, Mackenzie Walters, of Norristown; her granddaughter, Maggie Momsen; her brother, Stan Walters, of Willow Grove; and her sisters, Martha Amey (John), of Hatfield, Suzette Day (Tom), of Hatfield, and Pat Walters, of Willow Grove.
Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Friday evening, August 19, after 5:00 p.m. in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, until her Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place Saturday, August 20 at 9:30 a.m. in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. (Please meet at the Bell Tower at 9:15 a.m.) In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Georganne may be made to the Navy – Marine Corps. Relief Society at https://donate.nmcrs.org/.
