Man, 25, Stabbed by Coworker at Montgomery County Meat Packing Plant

Danny Vazquez was stabbed around 8:45 a.m. at the JBS plant on Souder Road in Franconia Township.

A 25-year-old man died Wednesday after being stabbed by a coworker at a Montgomery County meat packing plant, authorities confirmed.

Danny Vazquez was stabbed around 8:45 a.m. at the JBS plant on Souder Road in Franconia Township. He was transported to Lansdale Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to information from the Montgomery County District Attorney.

Authorities say the suspect in Vazquez’s death, a co-worker, was located at the facility and taken to Paoli Memorial Hospital, where he underwent surgery for treatment of stab wounds. His condition was not immediately available.

Police said a knife was located near the scene.

Police from Franconia Township and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s are conducting a joint investigation into the homicide.
