Masked, Armed Man Arrested For Robbery Of Harleysville Gas Station: Cops
Police said the store clerk provided crucial information which helped them arrest the suspect almost immediately.

Police have arrested a man suspected of armed robbery at the Exxon gas station in Harleysville on Sunday night.
Lower Salford police said that Taylor Johnson, 18, of Harleysville, entered the Exxon sometime shortly before 9:29 p.m. Sunday.
Sporting a hoodie and a black mask, Johnson allegedly passed a note to the clerk demanding she place money in a bag, authorities said.

Johnson then fled the scene on foot.
Police said they quickly identified Johnson as the suspect and arrested him at his home within hours.

A search warrant at Johnson's house uncovered the money stolen from Exxon and marijuana, police said. The store's clerk was crucial in identifying Johnson, police said.
"The police department would like to commend the actions of the store's clerk," the department said in a press release. "She remained calm throughout the incident and she did the best thing possible; she provided us with specific details which were instrumental in successfully apprehending Johnson."
He has been charged with robbery, terroristic threats, theft, and related count.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Thursday, September 29.
