MCAR Toilety Drive Supporting Hedwig House, Inc.
The Montgomery County Association of Realtors (MCAR) is pleased to host a Toiletry Drive for community caregiver - Hedwig House, Inc.
Who?
MCAR is teaming up with a new community partner to help provide much needed toiletries to their clients. Hedwig House, Inc provides support and assistance to individuals with mental illness in pursuit of independence and personal fulfillment.
What?
MCAR member offices/agents are asked to take up a collection of much needed toiletries for the clients of Hedwig House, Inc. Many of these folks are just getting set up in housing and could use some of the day-to-day supplies that many of us take for granted.
Where?
Hedwig House provides services throughout Montgomery County that serve to strengthen our community. Their office locations include Abington, Blue Bell, Colmar and Lansdale. Check out their mission at www.hedwighouse.org.
When?
The toiletry drive will run from April 11 - April 27. Participants are asked to deliver their bags to the MCAR office at 470 Norristown Road, Suite 300, Blue Bell by April 28th. If your office is not conducting a group collection you may deliver your bag(s) directly to MCAR at any time between April 11-27.

How?
Fill a shopping bag / cart / or bin with some of the suggested toiletries and drop it off to MCAR and we will provide final delivery to Hedwig House, Inc. As a group you may also want to consider teaming up with a local Giant Store to see if they will let you dedicate a cart in the store for shoppers to purchase items to drop in the cart!

Soap; Toilet Paper; Shampoo; Tissues; Conditioner;Toothpaste; Toothbrushes; Deodorant; Bath Puffs; Feminine Products; Q-tips; Shaving Cream; Body Lotion; Hair Ties; Combs/Brushes; Band Aides; Lysol Wipes; Wet Wipes; Hand Sanitizer; Sunscreen; Clothing Detergent.
