MICHAEL ALLMAN TO PERFORM AT HAVANA RESTAURANT AND BAR WITH PHILADELPHIA BAND "THE MILE HIGH CLUB"

Legendary musician Michael Allman will be hitting a high note on Friday, June 12 when he performs with Philadelphia rock band The Mile High Club at Havana in New Hope.

Allman, who is the son of the iconic Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers, is currently touring with The Mile High Club as his back up band on a seven-date run that will take him from Lake George, NY to Harrington, DE.

Allman first met and performed with The Mile High Club in Atlantic City last September when playing at a Southern BBQ festival at the Golden Nugget Casino. He enjoyed performing with the band so much that he asked them to join him on the road for a few weeks this summer.

“We are honored to be joining Michael on this tour and to have the opportunity to perform with such a legend,” said Brian Quinn, lead guitarist for The Mile High Club.

The Mile High Club features lead singer and rhythm guitar player John McNutt, lead guitar player Brian Quinn, drummer Marc Iezzi, bassist A.J. Hager and keyboard player Tim McKinstry.

Allman has several original hit songs, including “It Ain’t Me”, “If Dreams Were Money”, “Laid Back”, and “Mule Named Whiskey”. He tours all over the country, spreading his family’s blend of roots, rock, and blues. “I’m a singer and a gypsy who needs to fly another way,” Allman has said, quoting lyrics from his song “It Ain’t Me”.
