Money for Chocolate
Four companies are coming together to exchange money for candy for our troops overseas
Get some money for that candy.
The , Dr. Mark Weinstein Family Dentistry, the Montgomery County Health Alliance and the North Penn Community Health Foundation are taking part in a program on Nov. 4 that gives money for pounds of candy – and sends it to our Armed Services.
“The goal of this program is to send excess candy to our troops overseas,” said Lansdale Mayor Andy Szekely at a recent council meeting. “Kids will be paid 50 cents per pound, which, if any of you have been to West Mount Vernon Street, we get about 400 kids, so they will make out pretty well.”
