Montco Children's Author Touches On School In The Age Of COVID
The local resident's new book, about a child's first day in school, addresses overcoming the challenges of coronavirus and virtual learning.
LANSDALE, PA — A Montgomery County children's author will host a special event commemorating the release of his new book at the Lansdale Public Library next week.
The new book, "Lady P's First Day," is about a child's first day in school, and addresses overcoming the challenges of coronavirus and virtual learning.
“Our entire country is trying to work through many of the challenges for returning safely to school,"says author Robert F. DeFinis, a Schwenksville resident, local educator, and coach. "Sometimes we cannot provide a one-size-fits-all approach. Some children will be returning to the classroom, many will start virtually, and others participating in a hybrid approach.”
