Montco Community College Launches International Business Program
Montgomery County Community College will now offer an international business certificate program to students.

BLUE BELL, PA — Montgomery County Community College will now offer an international business certificate program to students, the school announced.
Students will take online courses through schools across the globe, including the University of Johannesburg in South Africa and the University of California at Los Angeles.
The program is officially called the Honors International Business Certificate Program, and is being offered through Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for students at two-year colleges.

“This program is designed to cultivate a global mindset and prepare students to work in an international economy,” said Victoria Bastecki-Perez, Vice President for Academic Affairs and provost at MCCC, in a statement. “They will be able to develop well-defined solutions for international business opportunities, and learn the basic skills needed for global entrepreneurship, leadership and human resource management in a cross-cultural world.”
The certificate program is 12 credits and will include courses in Entrepreneurial Essentials, Principles of Leadership, Human Resource Management, and International Leadership in Action and Discovery. There will also be a study abroad opportunity through the Special Topics in Honors International Study course.

The program is open to MCCC alumni and students. Students do not need to be Phi Theta Kappa members to enroll. To learn more, see here.
