Saldutti said this month he and parks and recreation committee chairwoman Mary Fuller noticed there's a problem with the original dimensions of the banner.

"The dimensions aren't quite working. The distance from spectators to actual banner display is about 300 feet," Saldutti said.
So, the dimensions are bigger: 9 feet high by 4 feet wide. No smaller, no larger.
"On top of that, we will keep moving forward and get some more interested advertisers in the location," Saldutti said.
You can get your banner made anywhere you want, but it has to meet the borough specifications, including a specific vinyl weight, white background, white reverse, grommet location and the minimum letter size.
"If you want to work with another vendor, it' fine. We like to keep business local," Saldutti said, referring to
Sign-a-rama owner Mary Schwalje said Weaver Field is twice as deep as the little league fields. "It's way too far," she said.

The banner, Schwalje said, runs $216 with a 25 percent discount for Weaver Field. She said that price could possibly drop.
The borough requires a two-year commitment at $250 a year. The total $500 is due at contract.
