Montgomery Co. Launches Coronavirus Contact Tracing Phone Line
Montgomery County is working to facilitate improved contact tracing in order to limit the spread of the virus.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County announced Tuesday the launch of a contact tracing phone line to help facilitate communication between health officials and potentially infected members of the community.
The county recently restarted its contact tracing efforts as they moved into the next phase of their battle to contain the virus. The process involves an investigation of everyone an individual who has tested positive has come into contact with since their test result.

If you have been identified as an individual who had direct contact with an individual who tested positive and you were called by the county's "Results Center," you can call them back at 610-278-5923.
“As the coronavirus continues to remain in our community, each of us must be personally responsible for our actions and work together to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in Montgomery County," Commissioner Val Arkoosh said Tuesday.

All information provided is confidential. The county will use the information provided by residents to help get in touch with other individuals who may have been exposed.
The county has seen 778 deaths and 7,864 cases of coronavirus as of Tuesday evening.
