Montgomery County Auto Dealers Pledge to Spread the Warmth Through Eighth Annual Driving Away the Cold Program
More than 55 area auto dealers pledge to donate a new child's coat for each vehicle sold in September.

More than 55 new automobile dealers in Montgomery County are joining forces with the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation to warm up winter for local kids through the Foundation’s Driving Away the Cold program. As part of We Pledge month, participating dealers will donate a brand-new winter coat to an underprivileged child for each vehicle sold in September. The pledged coats will be distributed to children in the five-county Philadelphia area in October and November.
“Cold, coat, warmth, kids; how simple yet vital can you get?” asked Kevin Mazzucola, executive director of the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation and the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia. “The breadth of the Driving Away the Cold program is unparalleled. The initiative has united the retail automobile industry of greater Philadelphia against the cold, and we fight that battle by giving local children a brand-new coat to keep them warm as they travel to school and play outside. As we start our eighth year of the program, the participating dealers are driven to help more children than ever before.”
