MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA -- No two burglaries are exactly alike, but a recent heist in Montgomery Township is one of the more unique instances of the crime in the local area in recent memory.
In the early morning hours of Monday, Feb. 13, a burglar broke into the Patel Food Market by climbing through the duct work on the roof of the building, police said.
Once inside, the suspect stole money from the cash register that had been earmarked as start-up funds, according to authorities.

Police did not say how much money the thief made off with.
The incident is reminiscent of a recent burglary at the Costco in King of Prussia, where the thief rappelled into the building from the roof and made off with high-end jewelry.
