Montgomery Township To Hold 16th Annual Autumn Festival

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA -- Montgomery Township will host their 16th annual Autumn Festival event on Saturday, October 1st from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae, they announced in a press release.

There will be new amusements at this year’s festival, including a zip line and a trampoline. In addition, featured events will include hayrides, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow making, K9 demonstrations, game booths, rides, inflatables, magician, balloon artist, DJ, and petting zoo. All of these attractions will be available from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The park is located on 1147 Kenas Road in North Wales.

Discount wristbands are now on sale at the Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center (MontCRC) for $12 each or three for $30 (cash, check, or credit). Wristbands will also be available for purchase the day of the event (October 1st) for $15 each (cash or check only).

“The community really seemed to love the live music entertainment and fireworks show during the 300th Anniversary Celebration, and we’re thrilled that we can make that happen again for them,” said Recreation Coordinator Matt Reimel.

The band “11” will be performing at 5:00 p.m. and the band “Beg, Borrow, and Steel” will be performing at 6:15 p.m. Autumn Festival will conclude with the fireworks show (which plays to music) from 7:40 p.m. to 8 p.m., the release states.

Montgomery Township will also be giving away a one-month MontCRC family membership along with a special Township prize bag during a raffle.

Event parking will be at Rose Twig at Windlestrae. There will also be shuttle service from the Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center and Penn Manufacturing Industries.
