The township's Board of Supervisors is comprised of five seats, and at least two of them promised to be different coming into Election Day.

A pair of incumbent Republicans declined to run this time around, leaving a pair of seats open for a challenge. Chairman Michael Fox and Jeff McDonnell announced that they would not be returning earlier in the year.

Democrats Beth Staab and Annette M. Long are taking on Republicans Frank Davey and Theresa Tran. Democrats face a long shot in flipping the board blue, as the GOP has a 2-1 advantage among sitting members.

The winners will join a board of Republican Vice Chairman Candyce Fluehr Chimera, Republican Jeffrey McDonnell, and Democrat Matthew Quigg.

A new chairman will be determined at the annual reorganization meeting in early January.
