The new discount retailer is open amid the coronavirus outbreak. They're selling essential items like food, health, and cleaning supplies.

MONTGOMERYVILLE, PA — Ocean State Job Lot, the area's newest major discount retailer, opened up its doors to the public for the first time on Tuesday morning.

While its not the opening the store imagined with the coronavirus outbreak ongoing, Ocean State will offer a bevy of "essential" supplies, including food, health, and cleaning supplies.

In a statement, the company said they are practicing social distancing in an effort to keep customers and employees safe.
