2 Found Dead In Car Was Murder-Suicide: Montco DA

UPPER GWYNEDD, PA — Authorities confirmed on Thursday that the two individuals found dead in Upper Gwynedd this week died in a murder-suicide.

The bodies were found by a passerby on Kerwick Court at Gwynedd Club, inside a vehicle with broken windows, on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 11.

Tommy H. Parks, 60, of Norwood, shot Sera Lee, 44, a Kerwick Court resident, in the head, the DA said. Parks then turned the gun on himself.

Police said the pair were known to each other. The incident was initially described by authorities as "domestic" in nature.

A 9mm Smith and Wesson gun was found inside the car, held in Parks' hand, the DA's Office said.

The generally quiet Gwynedd Club is just blocks from the North Wales SEPTA train station and North Wales Borough Hall.

The DA's Office said on Thursday that the investigation had concluded.
