New Interactive Tracker Maps 107 Fairs Around Pennsylvania

Looking for fun at the fair this summer? A new interactive map can help you find more than 100 of them around the state.

The tracker includes 107 county and community fairs, simplifying the process of finding basic information, Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding said.

"Memories are made at Pennsylvania fairs,” Redding said in a statement. "They’re family-focused celebrations of community and, at their heart, fairs feature agriculture. Explore our map, and then explore our fairs."

You can view the map online at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's website.

The map, which is mobile-friendly, can be searched by location, date range, or county. Information includes dates, a link to the fair's home page, and driving directions.

Many local fairs feature home and garden contests for both adults and children, and offer opportunities for agricultural education. Some include classes on woodworking, needlework, clothing, flowers, fruits, wine, vegetables, baked goods, and more.
