Nominate North Wales Running Co. As Nation's Best Running Store

NORTH WALES, PA — The 2020 Best Running Store in America competition is now accepting nominations, and the Lansdale area could have a nominee.

Local residents who have used and loved the North Wales Running Company, located on 111 N. Main Street, should consider nominating the local shop for the honor.

The store was one of the winners of the award in 2019. In addition to serving every level of the local running community, from elites to beginners, North Wales hosts group runs every Tuesday and Thursday night from their store at 6:30 p.m.

They also help organize and sponsor major local road and trail races, like the Tex Mex 5k Race for Open Space in June, and the 5-Mile Green Ribbon Trail Race in November.

The nomination process is simple. Fill out this short form that basically only asks one question: why do you feel this store deserves this award?

All nominated stores will be evaluated by a committee, which will then rank the top 75 stores. A "secret shopper" process will then determine the final 60, each of which will be invited to a convention in Atlanta in May.

The final 60 will be judged on the following criteria: greeting, fitting process, overall experience with sales associate, store appearance, store operations, purchase details, and overall experience.

North Wales has a sister store, All Kinds of Fast, in Phoenixville.

Nominations are due Feb. 1; winners will be announced March 16.
