North Penn Appoints 2 New Assistant Superintendents
Former high school principal Todd Bauer and Special Education Director Jenna Rufo have been named to the positions.

LANSDALE, PA — North Penn School District has appointed a pair of new assistant superintendents heading into the 2018-19 school year.
Jenna Rufo and Todd Bauer took an oath of office at the Montgomery County Courthouse on Monday, July 9.
The move reflects changes in North Penn's administration, as former assistant superintendent Diane Holben has retired and one additional assistant superintendent position has been opened.

Rufo had previously served as the district's Director of Special Education and Student Services, while Bauer was the high school's principal. The two will step into their new positions officially on July 15.
Rufo's responsibilities will include things ranging from school safety and mental health to professional development and cultural proficiency, the district announced. Bauer will focus on accountability, school board policy, athletics, summer school, and redistricting issues.
