North Penn Aquatic Club Wins Mid-Atlantic Junior Olympic Championship

Congratulations.

The North Penn Aquatic Club (NPAC) won last weekend’s Middle Atlantic Long Course Junior Olympics Championships at Penn State University.

The club competed in three different age groups at the meet, including 10 and under, 11-12, and 13-14.

The NPAC team defeated the Jesey Wahoos with a score of 1431 to take home the overall championship.

The team, coached by North Penn High School alumni Jeff and Brian Faikish, also won the team championships in the boys division, scoring 1005 over second place Greater Philadelphia Aquatic Club, North Penn school district said.

According to the school district, the team took 19 swimmers to the meet including: 10U: Aidan Faikish, Kayla Stressman; 11/12: Greyson Campbell, Nick Clark, Kaelan Daly, Jack Deppen, Ryan Faikish, Madison Fritz, Lizzie Koerper, Charlotte Thamm; 13/14: Aidan Daly, Eric Degodny, Sean Faikish, Aidan Khalil, Jake Kramer, Cameron Mehta, Parker Schulz, Claudia Thamm and Vicky Zang.

Jeff Faikish was also named Middle Atlantic Age Group Coach of the Year at the meet.
