North Penn Area Boy Scouts Celebrate 107th 'Scout Sunday'

LANSDALE, PA -- Over 50 Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and their adult leaders from North Penn area units celebrated the 107th Scout Sunday on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at Corpus Christi Church in Upper Gwynedd Township.

The date also marked the 23rd anniversary of Troop 303, and the 27th anniversary of Pack 303.

Scouts from Cub Pack 303 and Boy Scout Troop 303, sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish in Upper Gwynedd, welcomed Scouts from Pack 91 and Pack 137.

Since “A Scout is Reverent”, Scouts from Troop 303 and Pack 303 served as altar servers, cantor, lector, and offertory gift bearers.

During the Mass, Pack 303 Webelos Scout Rinaldo Rossi received the Parvuli Dei award, for a Cub Scout who serves his community in order to discover the presence of God in his daily life.
