North Penn Baseball And Softball Battle By Hatboro Horsham For SOL Continental Title

Both the baseball and softball teams won by a 1-run margin to capture the conference championship.

North Penn’s baseball team slipped by Hatboro-Horsham 2-1, while their softball team won 1-0, bringing home two SOL Continental titles to North Penn.

North Penn scored a run in the 3rd and the 4th. Senior Chris Crookham led the way, going 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Senior Ryan Murphy scattered eight hits, but only allowed one run in a very strong pitching performance for North Penn.

Hatboro Horsham scored one run in the sixth, but couldn’t get another hit the rest of the game.

On the girls side, senior Jackie Bilotti surrendered only two hits in a complete game shut out of Hatboro-Horsham.
