North Penn Elementary Students To Serve On MLK Day

These local youngsters are already giving back to the community.

LANSDALE, PA --In honor of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 18th, students at Bridle Path Elementary School are participating in a day of service on Friday, January 15th by decorating and delivering “breakfast bags” for those in need, the school district said on Thursday.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lasting for about an hour, the entire student body will be busy decorating bags full of breakfast goodies including granola bars, fruit, etc., which were generously donated by the Bridle Path Home & School Association.

Once the bags are finished, they will be loaded onto buses around 12:00 p.m. to be transported to local charities Manna on Main St. and the Mitzvah Circle Foundation.

Bridle Path Elementary School is located at 200 Bridle Path Rd. in Lansdale.
