North Penn Grad Brandon McManus Signs Extension With Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are rewarding the former North Penn football star, who played a key role in their Super Bowl L Championship.

LANSDALE, PA — A former North Penn football star and member of the Super Bowl L champion Denver Broncos will continue his career for the foreseeable future in the Rocky Mountains.

Brandon McManus, the Broncos kicker, signed a new three-year extension on his existing contract, which had a year left. That means he'll be in Denver for the next four years.

McManus, 26, had a record-setting career at Temple University before joining the Broncos in 2014. His performances were clutch during the 2015 offseason, during which he made all 10 field goal attempts, including a game-winning 52-yard kick to seal a victory over the New England Patriots.
