North Penn Holds Anti-Bullying Presentations

LANSDALE, PA — The North Penn School District hosted a series of anti-bullying presentations on Thursday.
An evening session, open to the North Penn community, will be held at 7 p.m. at Penndale Middle School on Thursday, Sept. 28.
The presentations were led by John Halligan, whose 13-year-old son died by suicide in 2003 after being bullied by classmates.

The program, "Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Youth Depression" aims to help families learn how to deal with bullying before it's too late.
North Penn presented Halligan with a plaque on Thursday, commemorating his 10 years of service to the school district in sharing his story and spreading a positive message.
