North Penn To Host Annual Wing Bowl Competition
It's becoming a tradition. Teams will include "Hotline Wing," "Lord of the Wings," and "Thy Wingdom Come."

LANSDALE, PA – While most of the community is busy shoveling snow and salting sidewalks, many North Penn High School (NPHS) students and staff will be spending the next week and a half preparing for NPHS’s second annual Wing Bowl II to be held on Friday, February 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the NPHS Senior Café.
Nearly 100 students have signed up to compete in this relay-style event, hosted by the NPHS Student Government Association (SGA). Each of this year’s 16 teams consists of five NPHS students and/or staff members. The competition requires four team members to eat five wings each as fast as they can, and the final team member, or “anchor,” to eat 10 wings. Based on each teams’ completion time, teams will advance to the semi-final and final round, where they will face the defending champion team of NPHS administrators including Mr. Kyle Berger, Mr. Pete Nicholson, Mr. Stefan Muller, Mr. Bill Bartle and rookie teammate Principal Todd Bauer.
NPHS students are invited to come out to this free event to cheer on student teams including “Hotline Wing,” “Lord of the Wings,” and “Thy Wingdom Come,” in the NPHS Senior Café. Will the students take the title from staff in this year’s NPHS Wing Bowl II?
