North Penn HS Business Students Advance to State Competition
53 students in North Penn's Future Business Leaders of America club have advanced to the state-level competition.

LANSDALE, PA -- The North Penn Future Business Leaders of America has advanced to the state-level competition, the school district announced.
North Penn hosted the Regional Leadership Conference on December 8, which was attended by 14 schools in Montgomery County and a total of 550 students.
The competitive event allows students to show their knowledge in a variety of business-related settings, including interviewing, public speaking, and emerging business issues. There are also online tests on subjects like sports management, accounting, marketing, and more.

North Penn had 53 students place high enough in their event to advance to the State Leadership Conference, which will be held in Hershey on April 2 through 5.
The North Penn FBLA is advised by business teacher Linda Westerlund, who also serves as Pennsylvania FBLA Region 20 Adviser.
