North Penn Ranked 17th Best School District In PA

LANSDALE, PA — North Penn has been ranked the 17th best school district in Pennsylvania for 2019-2020.

The ranking was released Monday by data compiler Niche, which analyzes various educational statistics to prepare ratings on both public and private institutions.

North Penn was the fourth Montgomery County school on the list, trailing only Lower Merion (3rd), Upper Dublin (14th), and Colonial (16th), and coming in just ahead of Wissahickon (19th).

Niche gave North Penn an A+ rating overall. It also received A+ letter grades in the following individual categories: Teachers, College Prep, and Clubs and Activities.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

The top-ranked school district in Pennsylvania is Tredyffrin-Easttown. You can see the top 100 here.

More than 100 Niche users have weighed in on North Penn School District, providing a variety of feedback and reviews.

"It has been one of the best experiences of my life thus far. The classes are challenging if you push yourself and the resources are always there to help you. Get involved and do your best," one reviewer wrote.

Another added: "North Penn school district has help me a lot through the years. I have a learning disability and they made me an IEP to help me get through school. I had accomindations to help me with tests. The teachers and administration were very helpful and helped me with get through school. They taught me a lot when I was there and I am very thankful."
