North Penn School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

LANSDALE, PA — August is here, and the start of the school year is just around the corner. And now the North Penn School District has issued their official 2017-2018 calendar.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals, and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/29 - First Day of School
• 9/1 - School closed, teacher in-service
• 9/4 - School closed - Labor Day
• 9/21 - School closed - in-service
• 10/13 - School closed - in-service
• 11/6-11/7 - School closed - teacher in-service and Election Day
• 11/22-11/24 - School closed - Thanksgiving Break
• 12/25-1/1 - School closed - Christmas Break
• 1/15 - School closed - MLK Day
• 2/16 - School closed - Conferences
• 2/19 - School closed - President's Day
• 3/28-4/2 - School closed- Spring Break
• 5/15 - School cl0sed- in-service
• 5/28 - School closed - Memorial Day
• 6/7 - Graduation
• 6/8 - Last day of school for students
• 6/11 - Last day for teachers
