The first bell on the 2015-16 school year is about to ring and that means parents need to get their calendars in order. To help out, we’ve compiled a listing of important dates in the coming year:
- First Day of School: September 1
- No School: September 4
- Labor Day (No School): September 7
- Rosh Hashanah (No School): September 14
- Yom Kippur (No School): September 23
- Early Dismissal: October 14
- In-Service (No School): November 2
- Election Day (No School): November 3
- Thanksgiving Break: November 25, 26, and 27
- Early Dismissal: December 23
- Winter Recess: December 24 - January 1
- School Resumes: January 4
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service (No School): January 18
- Early Dismissal: February 12
- President’s Day (No School): February 15
- Spring Break: March 23 - March 28
- School Resumes: March 29
- Staff Development Day (No School, Primary Election): April 26
- Memorial Day (No School): May 30
- Early Dismissal: June 10
- Last student day: June 10
