LANSDALE, PA — A North Penn senior has been named a winner of a prestigious scholarship from the National Honor Society.

Allison Yang was part of a small group of semifinalists selected from a field of more than 11,000 applicants nationwide.

Yang, who plans to attend Princeton University in the fall, according to North Penn, was one of 575 semifinalists to win a $3,200 scholarship.
