North Penn Teacher Dan Moretski Goes 'Above And Beyond'

LANSDALE, PA — Great teachers matter. In Lansdale, we’re fortunate to have teachers like Dan Moretski.

How do you know the teacher?

My kids both had him.

What does this person teach?

History and Science.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Dan is not just a teacher but he goes above and beyond to inspire and educate kids. He is creative with his lessons and loves his dad jokes which makes the kids have fun while learning. He has 2 daughters of his own which is also another reason why his love of teaching is so apparent and helping children is his passion. If a child is struggling or being bullied he goes above and beyond to help them to feel safe by working with the counselor and parents. When he isn’t teaching, he is a basketball referee and is the commissioner of a basketball league for kids.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

His passion for teaching is expressed daily.
