North Penn Unveils 2018 Knights Of Honor Class

LANSDALE, PA — The North Penn School District has unveiled their 2018 class of Knights of Honor, a program which honors and enshrines exemplary alumni and members of the greater school communiyt.

This year's class included 1994 North Penn graduate Yolanda Wisher, who was named the 2017 Poet Laureate of Philadelphia. Wisher also founded and directs the Germantown Poetry Festival, and works for the city's Mural Arts Program.

Two more North Penn icons will be inducted this year: former high school Aquatics Director Richard Carroll, and former teacher and theatre director Cynthia Louden.

The 2018 class represents the third Knights of Honor class in district history.

A ceremony honoring the trio will be held Friday, Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. at North Penn.
