North Penn Wins Several State Awards For Communications Excellence
North Penn is among the best in Pennsylvania at communicating with its district, according to the latest round of state honors.
LANSDALE, PA — North Penn School District has received several major state awards for excellence in various aspects of the field of communications, they announced this week.
The awards came from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association, which holds an annual Excellence in Education Communication Contest.
“Communicating with our community is always a priority for North Penn,” Christine Liberaski, Director of School and Community Engagement, said in a statementt. “We are proud of the awardsachieved, but even prouder of the student and staff accomplishments that ourpublications and videos highlight.”

The district received two Awards of Excellence (the highest honor), two Awards of Honor, and two Awards of Merit in the contest.
Erika Shaedle, North Penn's advertising and marketing specialist, won both Awards of Excellence for the district's Annual Report in 2021-2022 and the Activities Calendar for 2022-2023.

Meanwhile, North Penn's communications coordinator Bob Gillmer won awards in the videos category, two Awards of Honor, and Awards of Merit for "Do you want to call a snow day?" and the superintendent live series
