LANSDALE, PA — The North Penn YMCA is now offering expanded support for students to learn virtually through their individual school districts while enrolled in child care programs, they announced.

The local Y's branches will now support students from Souderton Area and Perkiomen Valley school districts, in addition to North Penn.

“As an organization dedicated to youth development, we know how important it is that our children have a safe and enriching environment for learning," CEO Robert Gallagher said in a statement. "With some area schools operating virtually this fall, we are restructuring our Child Care programs to provide that environment to children, while also providing essential child care to those parents who need to return to work."
