North Penn YMCA Names 'Community Leader' Diversity Award Winner
The inaugural Lansdale area community leadership award was presented to Francis Jeyaraj, a pediatrician and promoter of cultural diversity.

LANSDALE, PA — A local man was awarded the inaugural "Community Leader" award for Diversity and Inclusion from the North Penn YMCA this week.
Francis Jeyaraj, a pediatrician and founding member of the International Spring Festival in the borough, was named the honoree.
An event to honor Jeyaraj was held at the Holiday Inn Kulpsville during the annual Community Leaders Breakfast on Aug. 8.

In addition to his work in the community, Jeyaraj was recognized for his important work with the annual Festival, which bills itself as the largest diversity event in the state.
Members of local government, volunteers, donors, and YMCA staff were all on hand for the event.

Warren Hilton, the vice president for enrollment management and student affairs at Kutztown University, was the guest speaker.
