North Wales Resident Named 'Woman Of The Year' By Cancer-Fighting Nonprofit

NORTH WALES, PA — A North Wales woman has been named "Woman of the Year" by a local nonprofit after raising more than $150,000 to help fight cancer.
Denise Bradley was honored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society after raising $152,269 to help find cures for blood cancers and help patients have access to life-saving treatments, the organization said.
Bradley is a senior vice president of corporate reputation at Teva Pharmaceuticals, and she serves on the LLS Eastern PA Chapter's Board of Trustees.

“My journey with LLS began when my close friend, Kristen, was diagnosed with leukemia," Bradley said. "It was her patient experience that introduced me to the LLS mission. I know the dollars being raised by LLS are playing a critical role in advancing therapies for blood cancer patients.”
Philadelphia's Matt McNally was named Man of the Year after raising $266,000.
