North Wales Senior Home To Offer Elder Empowerment Workshop To Fight Scammers

NORTH WALES, PA -- Don't let your elderly family members be taken advantage of by scammers.

Kyffin Grove, a senior living community in North Wales, will host an Elder Empowerment Workshop for seniors entitled: "What to do When Scammers Come Calling."

The even will include presentations from Kyffin's Dee Jones, executive director, and Jessica Rice of the Montgomery County Victims Service.

The presentation will address various crimes committed against seniors, particularly financial fraud. The workshop will discuss:

• How to prevent becoming a victim
• How to spot scams and fraud
• Resources available to seniors and their families

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Breakfast will be served. Members of the public are welcome at this free event. Please RSVP at 267-460-8100.
