Nyce named MAMA Project board chairman
Randy Nyce of Everence Financial in Souderton serves as MAMA Project board chairman
Randy Nyce, Church Relations Representative for Everence Financial in Souderton, Pa., recently was named Chairman of the Board for MAMA Project. Nyce previously served as a board member before being named the board’s chairman.
The MAMA Project is a development effort focusing on the educational, health and nutritional needs of severely malnourished children – particularly in Honduras. It began in 1987 as a partnership among Mennonite women’s groups in Pennsylvania and Honduras – thus the acronym, “MAMA,” which stands for Mujeres Amigas Miles Apart (Women Friends Miles Apart).
“A central part of my personal calling is to connect people with practical expressions of faith and generosity,” said Nyce. “My work at both MAMA Project and Everence are doing just that.”
