Oak Park Science Teacher Awarded By County Organization

Oak Park Elementary School teacher Linda Roberts was recently honored by the Montgomery County Science Teachers’ Association for being an exemplary teacher of elementary science, according to an announcement from North Penn School District.
Roberts was chosen from teachers from all schools in Montgomery County, including public, private, homeschool or charter.
The award takes into consideration the various contributions a teacher makes to the lives of their students, school and community. One elementary, middle and high school teacher receive the award from the Montgomery County Science Teachers’ Association.

“I could not be happier for Linda,” said Oak Park principal Doug Povilaitis. “Her dedication and passion for science and teaching is extraordinary and her focus on student learning is infectious. The award is perfectly fitting.”
