Ocean State Job Lot Extends Montgomeryville Hiring Event

MONTGOMERYVILLE, PA — The hiring event for the new discount retailer in Montgomeryville has been extended through Friday.

Ocean State Job Lot is holding the event at the Staybridge Suites, located at 119 Garden Golf Boulevard.

The event is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday, Feb. 28. It had originally been scheduled to end earlier this week. Both full and part time positions are available.

The New England-based discount retailer, which has more than a hundred stores in the northeast, officially purchased their new home on 980 Bethlehem Pike over a year ago.

They plan to open at some point in March, a spokesperson told Patch.

It's part of the company's ongoing expansion in the region. Ocean State's first Pennsylvania store opened in Wilkes-Barre in June 2019.

Some of the available positions include store leadership, area supervisor, stock associates, ad coordinators, department heads, and more.

The company has a total of 139 locations in New England, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. They sell clothing, household goods, apparel, and various seasonal supplies at discount prices.
