Today I am grateful for the October sky. When I drove home from the pool today I was very glad I had my camera with me. The sky was in full dramatic mode as if it were Broadway itself!
Turning down a lane so that I wouldn’t be “that idiot” who stopped on the side of a busy road, I captured some amazing pictures. Blue skies are pretty, sunshine is nice, but I’ll take the spectacle of cloudy with peeping sun any day.

The setting in today’s production changed every second, with the clouds tripping over each other for attention. I never noticed a construction worker until he spoke. “Ah, hello?” he said, not missing a beat digging a post hole.
“Oh, Hi,” I said. “I didn’t see you there. I’m taking pictures of the amazing sky.” He laughed and said, “I didn’t think you were taking pictures of me.” I told him, “I should because he you’re pretty cute. But today the October sky is better.”
