PA State Sen. Mensch To Visit North Penn's Now Famous Lab
North Penn's nanotechnology lab and the invitation of students to an science conference in London earned Sen. Mensch's attention.

LANSDALE, PA -- Pennsylvania State Senator Bob Mensch (R-24) will be at North Penn High School on Wednesday morning to visit the Technology and Engineering Department's classes and labs, the school district said.
Sen. Mensch is visiting due to North Penn's recent attention from James Perkins, a physics teacher at one of the best independent schools in the United Kingdom.
Perkins visited North Penn's nanotechnology research lab during his visit and invited North Penn students to an International Science Conference in London in March.

When Sen. Mensch heard, he decided to visit the school.
The school said that during the senator's visit to Mike Boyer's class Monday morning, nine student research teams will be working.
