A Pair Of Eerie Burglaries Unsuccessful In Towamencin Township: Cops
A resident observed someone in their home during the night.

Two eerie attempted burglaries were unsuccessful in Towamencin Township on June 20, according to the Towamencin police.
In the first incident, a resident was woken up by noises inside the home near 500 Millers Way at about 9:30 p.m. on June 20, police said.
Upon investigating, the resident saw an intruder inside the home, but could not provide a detailed description due to the darkness, according to police.

The intruder fled upon realizing the resident was home, police said.
The area was extensively searched with the assistance of a Lower Providence Township Police K9 unit, but the suspect was not found, police said.

The suspect seems to have entered via a window which had its screen removed in the back of the house, according to police.
No items were reported missing, police said.
At some point on June 20 there was another incident near 2100 Kriebel Road, according to police.
A forced entry was attempted through a garage door, leaving a damaged frame and latch, police said.
It is not believed the suspect or suspects ever gained entry, and nothing was reported missing, according to police.
The incidents took place about 4.4 miles from one another and it is not known if they are related.
