Parking Shift Set in Lansdale as SEPTA Construction Continues

Construction is continuing near the SEPTA parking garage in Lansdale, and commuters will need to park in new locations.

LANSDALE, PA -- A parking shift will get underway in Lansdale as construction commences in new areas near the SEPTA parking garage.

The shift will begin on Feb. 6.

According to information published by the borough, the following changes will be in place:

  • Construction in various areas along the roadway from the garage to the station building will begin on 2/6/17 (see map below)
  • Parking in these areas will be relocated to the newly constructed SEPTA surface parking lot adjacent to the garage parking beginning 2/6/17
  • Temporary commuter parking in the Madison Lot will be CLOSED and parking will be relocated to the surface lot adjacent to the garage on 2/6/17
  • Finishes within the parking garage are currently underway. The garage is anticipated to be completed this coming spring.
  • Additional parking will be provided at the 9th Street Station (approximately 50 spaces) on 141 West 9th Street (9th & Kenilworth Avenue) and at Pennbrook Station (approximately 100 spaces)1114 Church Road Patch file photo
