Penn State Frat's Secret Facebook Pages Show Passed Out, Naked Women: Investigators
Kappa Delta Rho has been suspended by the university after officials learned of two secret Facebook pages with pictures of naked women.

A Penn State fraternity has been suspended as authorities investigate two secret Facebook pages that allegedly show photos of nude women.
Authorities allege members of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity used the private Facebook pages to share photos of naked woman, including females who are passed out, sleeping and even vomiting, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Kappa Delta Rho has been suspended by Penn State’s intrafraternity governing body and the national chapter.

On its national website, Kappa Delta Rho credits itself for developing “educated gentlemen who promote human dignity, positive relationships among men, and moral excellence of the highest ideals.”
But if the allegations are true, that description would come into direct conflict with what authorities say was the use of online tools to violate the privacy of unsuspecting woman.

Police in State College, where the university’s main campus is located, say they first learned of the illicit sites when a former member of the fraternity reported the nude photos directly to law enforcement officials.
The investigation was first reported by NBC-affiliate WJAC in Johnstown, which said police attempted to obtain evidence from computers but everything was “wiped clean.”
Police are looking into two pages, one called “Covert Business Transactions” and another titled “2.0,” according to a search warrant obtained by WJAC. The first Facebook page was shut down after a victim saw it. That’s when “2.0” was created, the report said.
The Associated Press reported there are also photos on the Facebook pages showing hazing and drug deals.
In addition to the allegedly nude and incriminating photos, frat members shared screenshots of text conversations, including one from a woman who was concerned about whether birth control was used during a sexual encounter the night before, the Inquirer said.
Joseph S. Rosenberg, Kappa Delta Rho’s Executive Director, issued a statement Tuesday regarding the allegations at Penn State.
“Upon learning from officials at Penn State that the KDR chapter at the university had been placed on full chapter suspension, our national leadership immediately examined the facts available to us at this time. In accordance with that review, we have placed the chapter on suspension for the remainder of this semester and we are conducting a full membership review and reorganization,” Rosenberg said.
He noted the fraternity intends to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and the university’s investigation and disciplinary process.
A decision regarding the fate of the Penn State chapter will be made once the investigation is complete, Rosenberg said.
