Pepperidge Farm Recalls Bagels Due to Allergy Risk
People who have allergies to peanuts and almonds could have a "serious or life-threatening" reaction if they eat the recalled bagels.

Pepperidge Farm is recalling seven kinds of bagels because they may contain undeclared allergens, the company announced Friday.
People who have allergies to peanuts and almonds could have a “serious or life-threatening” reaction if they eat the recalled bagels, which were sold at Pennsylvania retailers.
The recall includes the following Pepperidge Farm Bagels:

- 21 oz Cinnamon raison bagels, Sell by 2/10, 2/12 (UPC 14100074830)
- 17 oz Plain mini bagels, Sell by 2/7,2/9,2/10,2/11 (UPC 14100075622)
- 21 oz Everything bagels, Sell by 2/8, 2/12 (UPC 14100077152)
- 21 oz Plain bagels, sell by 2/10, 2/12 (UPC 14100078081)
- 17 oz Brown sugar/cinnamon mini bagels, Sell by 2/9, 2/11 (UPC 14100082354)
- 17 oz 100% Whole Wheat Mini Bagels, Sell by 2/9, 2/11 (UPC 14100084938)
- 17 oz Cinnamon raison mini bagels 2/9, 2/11 (UPC 14100092599)
“The recall was initiated after the bakery that made the products reported that peanuts and almonds had been included in an ingredient. Pepperidge Farm is removing all of the affected product from store shelves,” the company said.
No illnesses have been reported.

No other Pepperidge Farm products are affected by the recall.
In addition to being sold in Pennsylvania, the products were shipped to retailers in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Consumers who purchased the recalled product can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Questions can be directed to the company at (866)-535-3774.
