Rare Opportunity to See Former Newsboys Members Phil Joel with Zealand Worship Perform in Acoustic Setting

Souderton Mennonite Church is bringing Phil Joel with Zealand Worship to headline a date in their 2018 Concert Series. Appearing in a rare acoustic setting, Phil Joel with Zealand Worship will perform at the church Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Zealand Worship is the new project from former Newsboys bassist and vocalist, Phil Joel. After 13 years with the multi-platinum-selling Newsboys, Joel was asked to lead worship for a series of youth conferences. It was during this time that Phil's perspective began to shift, opening his eyes to a new understanding of worship and his role in it.

As he describes it, "It was like the lights came on for me. I realized that leading worship is all about leading people's hearts to a place far beyond a stage or a melody. True worship isn't just about a moment; it's about a lasting movement in people's lives."

More than a concert, Joel and fellow bandmates, guitarist Ben Garrett, and drummer Ben Bugna bring a worship experience with each performance. It is an evening not to be missed.
